What are the basic knowledge of lithium battery applications?

June 15th at 10:26am

1、 Common knowledge about using lithium batteries:

1. Lithium ion battery charging

(1) To charge lithium batteries, a dedicated lithium battery charging head should be used. Lithium batteries are charged by a "constant current power supply constant current source" battery

(2) Battery charging working voltage: The charging working voltage of larger batteries is * n (n: number of batteries charged in series)

(3) Current: Strongly recommended current (e.g. for rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 1500 MAH, current * 1500=750 MAH)

(4) Battery charging temperature: The rechargeable battery should be charged within the range of 0 ℃ to 45 ℃ (5), using a dedicated charging head for charging. When charging the battery, pay attention to the heat dissipation of the secondary battery and ensure that there are no flammable materials around it

2. Lithium battery discharge

(1) Discharge current: The charging and discharging current should be equal to or less than. (If you want a higher current for charging and discharging, please leave a message online)

(2) Discharge temperature: The rechargeable battery should be charged and discharged (in operation) within the temperature range of -20 ℃ to+60 ℃. (3) Discharge stop working voltage: The charging and discharging stop working voltage of the rechargeable battery should not be lower than * n (n: number of rechargeable batteries in series). Excessive charging and discharging of rechargeable batteries can reduce the number of battery cycles and even cause the rechargeable battery to fail

3. Storage of lithium batteries

Secondary batteries should be stored in a dry and naturally ventilated room with a working temperature of -5 ℃ to 35 ℃ and an air humidity not exceeding 75% to prevent contact with corrosive chemicals, eliminate open flames and heat sources, prevent sunlight exposure and water infiltration, and be placed in an area that children cannot reach. Before storage, the battery power should be maintained at 30% -50% of the allowed capacity.

4. It is recommended to charge the stored batteries every 6 months. Lithium battery transportation: Rechargeable batteries should be packaged and transported in boxes. During the entire transportation process, strong vibrations, impacts, or squeezing should be avoided. Rechargeable batteries can be transported by vehicles, trains, cargo ships, airports, and other means of transportation

2、 Application areas of lithium batteries:

Can be widely used in instrument equipment, medical devices, mobile communication technology machinery, handheld PDAs, pneumatic tools, handheld machinery, mobile terminals, mining machinery equipment, security equipment, IC products, LED lighting fixtures and electronic equipment, etc
